Coachloads of supporters from as far away as Wales and Cumbria brought the city to a standstill as farmers descended on Pall Mall, stopping at Trafalgar Square and marching along Whitehall, ending at Downing Street where FFA chairman David Handley delivered a letter to the Prime Minister outlining changes that need to be made in the industry.
The event, dubbed A Celebration of Farming, saw a strong media presence and visitors included Nigel Farage, who reiterated his support for British farming. Turn to page 9 to see more pictures from the day.
