Launched as part of a ‘new’ generation of Manitou NewAG telehandlers back in 2016, the nominal 7.0m lift and 4.1tonne capacity MLT741-140 V+ reached UK users in late 2017. A key feature of the new models was the adoption of just one transmission type, a stepless ZF ‘hydrostatic’ with no powershift version. From late 2020, MLT741-140 V+ models switched to Stage V power units and a new DANA transmission with a powershift MLT741-130 PS+ arriving in late 2021.
